Is this what southern Americans would call a lemon chess pie, or is it different? I don’t think lemon chess pie has meringue on it, but I’m curious if the lemon filling part is similar.

Wowww, this is my favorite cake! My grandmother always prepares it for me, will try one so that I can bake my grandma for this. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
