Are you using cookie jars?

I make sweets once a week or so. I store cakes and brownies in the pan and cover them with plastic wrap, but I store cookies in an airtight container or ziplock bag. To store them in, I’d adore a lovely cookie jar. Which brands do you guys use or like? A cookie keeper that maintains freshness?

I have a cookie jar with a rubber gasket that makes it somewhat airtight. It’s not completely airtight, so I usually don’t use it at home when it’s just us; instead, I keep cookies in the freezer. However, I do use it in my classroom when I bring treats, and also at home when I entertain guests.

Think about using cookie jars like OXO, Anchor Hocking, or Le Creuset to keep treats fresh. They keep your sweets just the way they should, sealing beautifully and looking great on your tabletop!

If you are worried about the freshness of the box, cover it with plastic wrap. Still, they ought to be good for a day or two with just the box. If you choose to wrap the cookies, make sure they are fully cool.

They work great as dog treats, but regular cookies would likely become stale pretty quickly.
