Use the Ghirardelli recipe, I chill the dough overnight before baking—Not preferable but it’s a game-changer. Preheat my oven for 15 min extra after it beeps- to avoid hot spots and get even cookies. Good butter and vanilla make a huge difference too. I freeze dough balls and bake a few whenever I want, so I always have fresh cookies on hand!

I guess your cookie might fall apart or turn out too dense because the yeast didn’t get enough time to work its magic. That is what I know
