Before and after decorating! I’m so proud that she didn’t crack. There are a few small clumps—probably from not scraping the bowl enough while mixing. This was taken before the ganache fully set, so it looks a bit watery, but it firmed up beautifully!

Do you mix by hand or use a mixer? Next time, try to get everything as smooth as you can. This looks delicious though for sure!

Thanks! I have a stand mixer, but I think I didn’t scrape the sides enough before I added the eggs. Luckily this was a practice run before a party, so my next one should turn out better! :raised_hands:

Nice! One of the things I need to buy is a stand mixer… I’ve been a chef for over ten years and still don’t own one haha. It’s funny how little mistakes like that can teach you to remember for next time!

Honestly, I don’t bake that much these days lol, but it’s definitely on my list of things to get.

I really like my stand mixer! I have the Drew Barrymore one, and it’s way cheaper than a KitchenAid. I wanted to make sure I’d actually use it before spending a lot :sweat_smile:. I also write down my recipes with notes for next time so I can always improve :blush: thanks for your kind words!
