40 Layers of Flaky Goodness!

This recipe comes from KAB’s Baking School, and I ended up with a total of 40 layers! I followed the rolling instructions from this recipe.

It was a fun challenge, but I don’t think this will be part of my regular baking rotation

Thanks! My entire kitchen is covered in cornstarch haha. Definitely using frozen next time. If there is a next time.

Baklava is my favorite dessert, and yet, I don’t think I have ever had it made from homemade phyllo dough. You have mad skills and infinitely more patience than I could ever have.

Ha, thanks! Maybe next time I should avoid starting it at 8:00 PM.

Definitely use the frozen. It’s at least 50% easier that way :sweat_smile:

Thank youuuu. I was super paranoid about the rose water, but it’s actually really subtle and nice.

Yes! Turned out so much better than I expected.
