The holidays are such a busy and stressful time for us bakers. While baking for friends, family, and coworkers, we can often be too hard on ourselves. I’ve noticed many bakers, especially beginners, feeling frustrated with their skills.
I thought it’d be fun to share some photos of my progress over the past year and a half as a self-taught baker. I’m still learning a lot and plan to keep improving. If you love baking and decorating cakes, don’t give up! Be patient, take pictures of your progress, and celebrate how far you’ve come. You’ll get there

Those are my two favorites also! OP, do you have other artistic skills, like drawing? I don’t, and I feel my decorating is lacking, but maybe I just need to practice more.
As a self-taught baker trying to improve my skills, I really needed this! Feeling motivated to keep practicing. I hope to reach even half your skill someday! These are beautiful!
