Made some with blackberry jam and some with Nutella custard. Looking for more filling ideas and any tips if you see any mistakes.

I love doughnuts and think buying them is very hit or miss in bakeries. These tasted incredible, and the texture was so light and fluffy. I am biased, though, so I thought I’d see if there’s anything obviously wrong.

I would say that because of the lemon zest, the recipe is better suited to jam filling. The Nutella still tastes good but doesn’t go as well as the blackcurrant.
