@Jensen
Interesting, I looked it up. I wish she’d say more about that. I’ll keep delving into it because that’s a fascinating topic. Much appreciated, I like being corrected where I’m wrong!
@Remy
Ooh me too but I’ve never been able to find the right recipe. What’s your recipe?

Sorry for the lack of formatting, etc. this is just from my notes app. It’s written in order of how I add them.
Chocolate chip cookies
4 oz (1 stick) butter at room temperature
120g white sugar
120g light brown sugar
Cream on medium high until fluffy.
~62g (large) egg
Mix on medium until just incorporated
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp DC kosher salt
185g AP flour
Mix on medium
90g chopped dark chocolate
I now live less than an hour away. The recipe OP used is the one they use for the bags of cookies they sell in their store/café. I buy two bags: 1 whole bag for myself (~6 cookies) and 1 bag to share
Your pictures look better than the ones on their site!

whoa! 3 day prep time. did you do the rest they recommend? i feel like this one needs to be done by the line to really get the best experience
I usually do give it a day before baking cookies so I didn’t mind waiting. They are for tomorrow but I wanted to make the dough ahead of time so all I have to do is bake them tonight.
I followed recipe exactly but I had only 2 chocolate bars on hand which wasn’t enough so ended up using 1 bar of ~ 60% cocoa, 1 bar of ~ 70% cocoa and then some chocolate chunks and chocolate chips I had lol. A potpourri of chocolate if you will but I’m super happy.
Also added Maldon flakes on top.
This looks wonderful and I want to try it immediately.

Do give it a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Making these asap. Thanks for sharing.
This looks so good!
It looks pretty tasty.
Have you tried their oatmeal crème pie bars? They’re heavenly and such a hit whenever you bring them places. Perfectly chewy!
