What are your best LIGHT thanksgiving desserts?

This year, I am in charge of Thanksgiving desserts, and for once, I kind of want to stay with lighter options. No, I am not searching for healthier options, I am seeking desserts that make you feel less weighed down and overly full. I have whipped cranberry pie and pecan pie macarons in mind right now, but I would really appreciate some more suggestions

I think sweet potato cream instead of pie is a great idea. Whipped cream, sweet potatoes, and spices are what most recipes call for. The pumpkin chiffon pie that my friend’s mom makes is a lot like pumpkin mousse pie. It tastes really great!

I prefer the way these treats are made. Coconut Panna Cotta is a creamy and light dessert made with coconut milk and favored with fresh fruit, making it both refreshing and delicious. I also enjoy the Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries, which are juicy strawberries dipped in dark chocolate, delivering a sweet and satisfying dessert alternative without feeling too heavy.

Skip the heavy stuff, focus on fresh fruits for crumbles or angel food cake with berries. Individual portions are your friend - think mini cheesecakes, tarts, or mousses. Pies can be lighter too - try mini versions with an almond flour crust for pumpkin or pecan. And don’t forget a classic palate cleanser - a tangy lemon sorbet is a refreshing way to end the meal without feeling weighed down. These are just a few ideas to create a delicious and festive dessert spread that won’t leave your guests groaning
