My workplace is hosting a cookie competition next week, and I have an overwhelming desire to completely outshine all my coworkers!
A tiny piece of dark chocolate is encased in a dough akin to sugar cookies and topped with chopped walnuts. Alas, I misplaced the recipe.
The tree is the greatest Christmas custom. We light candles throughout the home and have a special entrée for dinner to commemorate the solstice. It will be Hungarian chicken paprikash
Butterscotch and Pumpkin Cookies.
Without a doubt, these are THE BEST cookies I’ve ever baked. Every time I make them, folks go crazy for them! I make them whenever I get the chance! I halved all the ingredients because the recipe I was given created roughly 100 cookies, which explains some of the weird measurements. There are roughly 46 cookies in each batch. Though they taste fine at room temperature as well, I prefer them chilled.
Components Two cups and one-third cup of pumpkin 1 1/3 tsp vanilla extract and 2 1/3 cups sugar Flour 1/third teaspoon baking powder 2/3 cup softened unsalted butter 1/3 teaspoon salt 1 1/6 tsp Baking 1 1/3 tsp soda, 8 oz of cinnamon (about half a bag) Caramel Chips
I love your competitive spirit for the cookie competition! Here’s how to potentially achieve glorious cookie domination (while keeping it friendly with your coworkers):
-
Everyone loves a good chocolate chip cookie, but add a unique spin! Try using dark chocolate chunks, chopped nuts, or a touch of sea salt for a flavor upgrade.
-
Make those cookies look like mini works of art! Use fun cookie cutters, drizzle with melted chocolate, or sprinkle with festive toppings. Presentation goes a long way in judging.
Bake a little extra! Sharing your delicious creations can be a great way to win over the hearts (and taste buds) of your coworkers.
