Will adding vanilla flavored protein powder to Velvetta (and/or other mac and cheeses) ruin it?

I have been trying to increase my protein intake, so I purchased a large bottle of muscle milk vanilla protein powder to add to various foods. I am curious whether this will affect the flavor because I enjoy mac and cheese and velvetta occasions.

I believe the flavour will be ruined. I suggest purchasing an unflavoured, unsweetened protein powder to give this a try. As an alternative, for more protein, consider combining cottage cheese and adding it to your velveeta.

This is the ideal response, without a doubt. The macros of a low-fat cottage cheese are similar to those of several protein powders. I utilise this game-changing trick—blended cottage cheese—in a variety of cheese sauces.

It will almost certainly be awful.

If you are truly interested in giving it a try, get some flavorless/unsweetened protein powder, however you might be better off just topping your mac & cheese with some meat, fish, beans, etc.

If you really must use the vanilla powder, how about adding it to a little beverage to go with your meal?

Hello JamesI appreciate the advise. It seems more sensible to add flavorless or unsweetened protein powder. It’s a terrific idea to top mac & cheese with fish, meat, or beans. Instead, I might mix the vanilla powder into a drink. Thank you for the advice!
