Would you consider eating cheesecake that has been in the fridge for a week?

I baked chocolate cheesecake a week ago for Valentine’s Day, but my husband and I couldn’t finish it in time. I plan to have a slice tonight and freeze the rest, but my husband thinks it might make me sick and wants me to throw it away :sob: It doesn’t smell or look bad, just a bit dry.

Update: I had a slice last night and I’m perfectly fine! Still undecided if I’ll defrost and eat the remaining pieces or play it safe and toss them.

I have never been really picky about leftovers, but I would still eat it. Which brings me to the fact that I have two tacos from the weekend left in the refrigerator.
