1st *successful* attempt at cinnamon rolls

I used Sally’s Baking Addiction recipe, and these turned out delicious! I was a bit nervous because I had to add extra flour since the dough was too sticky at first, but they came out great! I also brushed them with heavy cream, which I think helped keep them soft and fluffy.

I’ve tried making cinnamon rolls before, and they didn’t turn out well, so I’m really happy with these :smiling_face:

wow they are gorgeous!! looks superrrr delicious :)!

@Casey
Oooh I really want to try this! I’ll print it out to add to my recipes!

It is SUCH a good recipe!! It’s fabulously versatile and comes out like a dream! 10/10 recommend!

I’ve also had great luck substituting the cinnamon filling with homemade blueberry jam, as well as apple butter!

@Dara
I modified it recently by warming the milk for the dough with earl grey tea leaves (strained after, got almost all of it out, lol), made a vanilla sugar filling, and did a vanilla lemon icing.

@Rylan
It was quite obvious! I didn’t measure, but probably threw two-ish teaspoons in.

Beautiful! Hope they taste as good as they look!

Oh they sure did haha.

Literally JUST made these yesterday, they came out so good :sob: I loved that they weren’t overpowering in cinnamon. Urs are beautiful and symmetrical af!! well done!!

Beautiful results. Now I want one!

These look so tasty and amazing!

beeeeeeautiful! can smell em through the screen :slight_smile:

Look so good.

Excellent job!! That’s the same recipe I use and I’m glad you’ve had such great results with it!!

You can even swap out the filling seasonally – I make them with blueberry jam in the springtime (with a little extra lemon zest in the cream cheese icing) and they disappear the moment I put them down!

They were rolled so neatly. Really wonderful first try. Great job!

Yay Synonym Rolls :slight_smile:
