Are corn flour and corn starch different?

I am not sure, but I have seen the two terms used interchangeably at times. Since I am having trouble finding corn flour specifically, I am wondering if they are interchangeable.

No, do not make the mistake of using any of them interchangeably, they are two different products.

Nope, two different products, corn flour is not a substitute and should not be used as a substitute for corn flour. Cornflour is less refined than corn starch and contains more nutrients such as proteins which corn starch lacks

Yes, corn flour and corn starch are different. Corn flour is made from whole corn kernels and contains protein and fiber, while corn starch is extracted from the endosperm and is pure starch used as a thickening agent.
