Doubts regarding gelatin

I want to know how to utilize gelatin because I’m going to prepare this recipe the following weekend.

A recipe video:

Hanbit uses sheet gelatin, but I have powdered gelatin on hand. The recipe calls for 1 gram of gelatin, which could mean the amount of gelatin to be used or already bloomed (for instance, if I use 1 gram of powdered gelatin, I will need to bloom it with 5 grams of water, making the total amount of bloomed gelatin 6 grams).

I’m not sure if the recipe asks for 1 gram of gelatin to be bloomed before using the result, or if it requires using 1 gram of gelatin that has already bloomed.

It is found in most gummy candies as well as other products such as marshmallows, gelatin desserts, and some ice cream, dips and yogurt. Much of the gelatin bought at the store is from feed lot animals which are not healthy and are unable to pass good nutrition along to us.
