Hi guys I am trying to find a recipe for edible fake blood that is maybe a little thicker and less sugary than those produced with corn syrup. any suggestions?

How about adding a little extra sugar to make a thicker simple syrup, then coloring it red with food coloring and adding a drop of green to add some depth?
