Hey!
Traditional cannoli uses wine but I substituted wine for white vinegar since I don’t drink wine.
Ingredients for the cannoli shells:
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour;
- 2 tbsp icing sugar;
- 1/4 tsp salt;
- 3 tbsp butter;
- 1 large egg;
- Egg white (for sealing the cannoli shell);
- 1 tbsp white vinegar and 2 tbsp of water.
Ingredients for the filling:
- 500g of ricotta;
- 100g of icing sugar;
- Vanilla pod (or vanilla extract);
- A dash of cinnamon;
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice and I grated some lemon zest too.

Those look amazing! I love cannoli so much. The last time I made cannoli, my bestie’s dog ate them all off the counter before we even got to try one
Thanks! Hahahahha no way, that’s one well-fed dog with great taste

Thank you! The hardest part was definitely the dough – it’s tricky because it can be too thin, not sealed properly, or even fall apart. But once you get the hang of it, it gets a bit easier.
Reminds me of this little bakery in Agawam, MA. They look incredible!
