Hello bakers…
I’m looking to make some candied pecans for an upcoming party, but I’ve never made them before. I love the sweet and crunchy texture they have and would like to recreate that at home. Does anyone have a tried-and-true recipe or tips on how to make them?

I used this recipe , but replaced the cinnamon with some of last year’s Pumpkin Pie Spice.
Roasted and salted pecans are a better option than raw nuts. I enjoy salt with my sugar. This is a super simple recipe.
Pic 1: Raw ingredients include R&S nuts, vanilla bean paste, eggs, sugar, and PP spice. Before baking, I seasoned with Maldon salt.
Pic 2: Finished product: three bags and a bowl of candied pecans.

To make candied pecans, toss pecans with melted butter, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let cool before serving.

Candied pecans are a delicious treat, perfect for snacking, parties, or as a topping for ice cream. Here’s a simple recipe to try:
Ingredients:
1 cup pecan halves
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, corn syrup, salt, and cinnamon.
Add the pecans to the bowl and toss until they’re evenly coated.
Spread the pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 45-60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes, until the pecans are golden brown and crispy.
Let them cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
Tips:
For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom.
Using dark brown sugar can give the pecans a richer taste.
For a bit of heat, sprinkle in a pinch of cayenne pepper.
Enjoy your homemade candied pecans.
