I am looking for the best banana muffin recipe!

What is your favorite recipe for fluffy, moist, and delicious banana muffins?

I am planning to make my usual recipe, but I would love to try yours!

Muffins:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup white sugar

Brown Sugar Topping:

  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin with oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  4. In a separate bowl or stand mixer, beat together the mashed bananas, egg, melted butter, and white sugar.
  5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the banana mixture. Mix until combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, cinnamon, brown sugar, and slightly softened butter with a fork until it looks like crumbles.
  8. Sprinkle the crumble mixture on top of the muffins.
  9. Bake for 17-19 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

  • Sift the dry ingredients together in one bowl. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl.
  • Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture.
  • Spoon the batter into prepared muffin tins. Bake the muffins in the preheated oven.
