My first ever blueberry pies

I made small ones because I wanted to try it first. I’m super proud of how they came out. Not too bad for a first try.

yummm!! blueberry pies are so underrated

I’ve never had it before that’s why I was super excited to try. I definitely agree. They are absolutely underrated.

After giving up a majority of social media platforms, I’m totally getting into baking now. I feel inspired to cook and bake! So far, I’ve made a tiramisu, cheesecake, and pecan pie for the holidays! They were yummy!!

It’s 2:30 AM in India and I should be in deep REM sleep. But I am getting hungry looking at this.

Does India have blueberries?

Any specific recipe you used for either the crust or filling? Looks great!

The crust is just pre-made puff pastry crust I got from my neighbor.

For the filling:

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 cup of water/blueberry juice

Melt the sugar with the blueberry juice in a pot. Add your blueberries (I used frozen). Bring to a boil. Mix a bit of water and add it to your cornstarch. Add cornstarch to boiling mixture. Stir well until desired consistency is reached.

That’s what I did and the filling was absolutely delicious.

Looks delish can honestly say I have never used that much cornstarch in a recipe but I trust you OP!

Oo darn it I made a mistake. It’s 2 tablespoons of cornstarch. So sorry I guess I was more tired than I thought.
