Silicone angel food cake pan?

Does anyone of you have any unique experience with one of these? Is it recommendable or should I go buy a metal one to make my friend’s requested angel food cake on Monday?

I am mainly worried about the bottom part- maybe line just the bottom with parchment?

Don’t worry, I will give it a really good wash first if I do use this one.

On this one, I really believe you should go all metal! Cake made with angel food is a finicky bake. Since the egg whites are the sole leavener and there isn’t much flour in them, it needs the micro-niches in the pan to adhere to and rise properly. This would be extremely difficult to do on a much smoother surface like a silicone pan or a greased/lined baking pan. Wishing you success in baking! Have you yet to locate a recipe that works?
